For optimal and long-term use, it is best to first use the amber block as a fragrance block.
When the smell subsides, you can scrape some off to make it smell again.
Thescrapings can be used in the vacuum cleaner bag or in a fragrance burner.
Switching on a few times a day is enough to spread the scent.
